Halloi, and Be welcome.
(Em português)
Halloi, e Seja bem vindo a ler.
Obrigado.

This text starts with explanations about Races, firstly the same way you'd see in an RPG Book or Guide, and so evolves into an Action Tale version of how to make it, with a narrative example included.
Starting Point - Races:
Ejik
# Also called Mu, Human, Jink, or Nefer, they're a versatile race who form communities everywhere, singe subspace deprivation, live at cities or nearby, but are disliked for their supposed subtleties implicit at every levels of society.
# +3 at Any Stats, recover from Stress easily.
Then, how to Actin Tale it?
Why are there more than one name to one race? Are them enemies? Other races naming? Different languages and definitions? When we say versatile, what does it really mean? How those communities are like? Always the same? Always different? Are some of the names reference to any community specific characteristics? Why everywhere? Are they a new race, and if so, how come they are in so many places? Are they workers, to spread so many places? Are they slaves, then? Or have been?
When we say subspace, how common is this technology? How is their typical city? Are city dialects prominent? One dialect for each city? What do they eat for breakfast? Can you define those subtleties they're disliked for? Disliked by whom? If they recover from Stress faster, how is the average day in their lives? Easy? Fight for survival? Or everything is pretty much trying to kill you? Can you number them? They're the only unliked, or they dislike some other species too? Why?
This is what we mean: You need Questions.
This was late night, when Twig listened to a voice, hushing, whispering, at the garden just about her window. She woke with this sensation, of awe, and could not help but go and try to understand what they're saying. She can't help herself. Curiosity killed the monster, say the old stories.
Obviously, it'a an ejik voice -- you can always tell the aliens by their voice -- she get up in silence, and comes closer to the window.
Ikka
# The Whites are thin and tall, and long hated for forcing their "angelhood" into other societies, they live at worlds they terraform to look like Paradise; they're proud, respecful to those of important positions, and hated enemies (when it applies).
# +3 in Reaction; they suffer Frenzy when threatened.
Ok, a Frenzy is a strong word; what it means? If threatened, they kill everyone in sight? Why are they called "Whites"? Is there any biological distinct feature which makes 'em white? When they fake "angelhood" was uncovered? Are they so rich they terraform worlds without help from the major races (older races?)? So, is it possible to take some advantage of their pride? Is it real that they treat as important only those rich, noble or in important position? None of them are poor people, though?
One cannot answer all those questions in a row, then you need to read the Stories to understand it better.
-- Do you think there's more than one, Pylyp? -- says a woman. Twig cannot look at their faces, or she knows they're gonna see her, but "They can be bad people",... -- thinks the young.
-- The Doctor said it's one dot into the radar, Miha -- Twig feels goosebumps, with the ikka male voice. It seems the voice of a killer, or worse, they came to kidnap her,... or,... they can be thieves,...
-- It's our neighborhood, Pylyp -- says Mihari, seriously -- Our duty. We cannot help but take care of those commons. They're children, Pylyp! -- she lowered her voice -- Who knows if it's more than a Class One?
-- We'll be lucky if it's a Class One, ejik -- answer the white.
Sidha
# So called "Elves", they're not ancients or magical, well, not most of it's population. They live at forests, and from the forests. They don't compete with others in terms of technology, but they're Masters of Nature.
# +3 in Diagnose, and +3 at any Nature environment (Forests, or specify).
If they're "so called", then they're "not" elves? When "most" of them are not ancients or magical, some are? They're good survivalists, if they live at and from the forest? What is it like, those forests? A hard place to live? Do they have any trouble with technology? Is it psychological? Is it spiritual, or else? What is it to be a "Master of Nature"? Do they get to be one with Nature? So, is it possible for other races to even notice they're living in some forest, or they're so "one with nature" that it makes it impossible to track them and find heir homes?
-- Hey, sidha -- says the ikka cold voice -- Why is it taking so long to make a simple map of a manor?
-- Interference, Pyl -- Twig listens to a magnificent voice, almost magical as in a dream -- It seems there's a naka male bomb in the Outer Planes, somewhere,...
-- "Male bomb"? -- asks Pylyp, in doubt -- Those frogs are mischievous, probably trouble, ing xsilwih,...
Then, the young girl doesn't knot why, it makes pure silence. Not their voices, or anything can be heard, and she's afraid they're going to "explode" the manor, after they say there's a "male" bomb here somewhere, but,... then,... "Male bomb?", she thinks.
Tyke
# The draconians are not related to Dragons. Dragons are their Gods. They once were slaves to Ikkas, but they won their freedom with blood. Most of them are latent Psionics. They live at deserts, or at dry landscape and the like. This race have recently developed a "crown" bone at the back of the head, doesn't have any fur, and shows irregular lines marked on their skin that are unique for individuals.
# +3 in Reaction, and +3 in Survival; all considered Latent Psionics (training needed).
So, they're "draconic" because they follow Dragons as their Gods? What?! Then,... there are,... Dragons,... somewhere? How come the Dragons doesn't simply freed them from their ikka lords? That needs at least one Story to tell that, huh? So,... latent psionics need training, or they're so common as every common people? Is it possible that the "crown" thing to be related to the dragons? Or is it only evolution? Do they need to cover their body more than an ejik, for they have no fur? Or they do it just to hide their lines? Do the lines have any special symbolism in terms of their draconic religion?
-- So,... -- says a man's voice, a tyke, older -- I'll explain it the best I can. There's a monster inside the manor. Wait, please. There's a monster inside the manor, and we are here to protect the children who live in this manor orphanage.
Some moments passed, until Twig listen to Miha's voice. It's the voice of a young ejik woman, very emotional, but calm.
-- We need to take all the children off the orphanage, or the monster's gonna kill everyone.
Twig started to think they're all mad. They must be mad. "A monster?", she thinks. She knows, now. They know she's listening, and she needs to run and tell the nurse.
Very quietly, she walks in silence to her room's door,...
Rakma
# The cyberpunk gladiators, this reptilian Race is happy to be the only race to not suffer psychological damage by Implants, what makes about 10% of them cyborgs. They're armed, but are beautiful friends, when you know them better.
# +3 in Strength, +3 in Weapons, and doesn't suffer penalties by Implants.
Cyberpunk? Gladiators? Reptilians? That's quite an explosive moisture, isn't it? So, the implants are mechanical? They're probably tough? What does have a 10% of cyborgs in their population modifies their Laws? Police? Sports? It seems they're always armed with a gun, then? How old is their species? Is it hard to befriend one of them?
,... the young girl opens the door,...
,... and sees a dim light corridor, with all doors closed.
Then, she sees a shade from the street lamp on her side, and there's someone one her window. Her eyes look back, and she sees the silhouette of a huge rakma. With a gun. She run away into the corridor, but could not help herself and not scream.
-- Aaaaahh! Heeelp! Nuuuurse! There's someone in my rooom! - she then shouts, out loud.
Twig runs til the end of her corridor, and turns right.
And she stops, immediately paralyzed.
Fauk
# The Treepeople are biologically plants, but they're also Star-shaped. They're so perceptive they have to hide their feelings from others, so they seem a little "slow" to the other races, but don't count on that in a real combat situation.
# +3 in Diagnose; Master must make different hidden Perception tests every now and then, to add to Narrative.
A,... Treepeople? What do they eat? So, a "starshaped" is someone with a torso, head, arms and legs? How good is this super perception? I bet they're really agile, don't you?
Twig is in front of a strange mass of no-matter.
A mass,... with tentacles. The nurse Leigh's room door is no more, and the monster stops. She can't make a single move, as the shock is impossible to explain in words.
Suddenly, she's got from back by strong hands, in a firm grip.
It's the rakma, with a huge gun he fires at the monster, and the sound Twig listens to is like a million children crying in despair, probably somewhere in Hell, for sure.
Zyt
# The Grey are a military society, and they're all Psionic telepaths. All their technology is telepathy-based, including simple doors and clothes. They have a Secret. No one knows what this Secret is for sure, but they always say they're there,... "Waiting". Rakmas hate them.
# +3 in the Stat that's divided in Five types that interbreeds the Race.
Grey? Didn't I have seen it somewhere else? Movies? Literature? If they're all military, do they all have military Vow to obey the command from a superior? Do they have a hive mind, or some place to hide their individuality? What is The Secret? "Waiting"? That sounds very creepy, don't you think so? In our example Story, we have seen a rakma saving a young ejik girl, so,... if they rakmas are good guys, does it makes a Grey a bad guy, or not?
Sun Chang
# They're politics that assumed the control of the largest Empire, with more than 60 Races. They don't like the reptilians, and don't trust the grey. They're a Space Race, which must use special equipment to enter atmosphere, but they only look as a common race using it.
# +3 in Intelligence; doesn't breathe; must use armor inside atmosphere.
The immense rakma runs off back way the corridor. Twig is on his firm grip, but she sees the monster running behind them, and she thinks she's going to die, in despair.
A strange white and emerald green supernatural energy passes them, and stops the monster a for single moment.
-- This way -- says Miha's voice -- Let's take it off the manor.
-- Let's take it to the gardens -- says the rakma.
It all happened in the blink of an eye, and Twig started to cry in fear, but they moved fast and jumped off her window. On the moment then, the window was overthrown by the creature, and more than eight multiple explosions hit the monster. The sound of a million children voices was so loud that Twig's thoughts started to get paralyzed.
Naka
# They're a froglike Race, black and yellow, venomous. It's very difficult at relations with other races (not exactly suitable for Players). They live at Swamp Worlds they terraform, at the Rakma Empire.
# +3 in Strength; venomous.
They're venomous? No friends up, then? They terraform planets? So, they're part of the Rakma Empire races? How many other races are part of this Empire?
The rakma let Twig with the ejik woman, Miha, and called the attention from the monster. He runs away from the orphanage, but Twig was still able to listen to his voice.
-- Divide him, wizard! It's only a Class One -- and he fires at the creature again.
A huge number of explosions made this a strange festive day, as it was seen by the neighbor's mansions, but they probably noticed the weird and supernatural voices of children, suffering, in absolute deprivation.
-- Apu! Do your blast-knocks, now! It seems it wants me and only me -- shouts the rakma, running from one point to the other in the gardens.
-- It's not functionin-,.. It works! Stay put, Kah! -- ordered the alien.
-- Stay put? Stay put? Shot this abomination, bastard! Now! -- answers the reptilian, still running.
Then a very loud elongated sound took everyone's attention. Something only done with those weird technologies you see on movies, and it made a large "Pop" on the end, but then,... Silence.
Jackal
# They come from other galaxies, and no one knows which is their original galaxy. They're a gelly green, as a molluscus, with a horselike head and three eyes up the head, and men are less civilized than it's very civilized women. All this Race wants is to spread words against Corruption. Usually, home is near the forest where uncivilized men live, and when a girl tops reproduction age she's let alone at the forest to make sex (somewhat a rape).
# +3 in Reaction (men); +3 in Expression (women); hot and warm zones, only, and they suffers penalties at cold weather.
Other "Galaxies"?! That is really creepy, huh? A molluscus? A horselike head molluscus, then? With three eyes on the top of their head? It seems a race from the Deep Space, this time? The War against Corruption, you say? What is it?
The silence which makes it all end, came over the gardens.
Silence. Within a firm grip, from a young ejik woman, about twenty, Twig looks and sees a monster. Locked. There's some weird blue energy forming a huge net, which paralyzes the creature.
The young orphan sees the net diminish its size, and in a few moments, there was nothing there. No sign of the terror she saw, and then the woman hugged her.
-- Shish, shish,... Don't worry, oke? It's over.
Twig didn't know what to say, but she looks at her room's window, completely dismantled, destroyed,...
-- Don't worry -- says Mihari, again -- What's your name?
-- Twig -- she says, cleaning the tears with the back of her hands -- Twig Tkji Koki. And you?
-- Didier -- says Miha -- Now, look at this.
Twig looked, and the friendly young ejik woman was with a piece of wood on her hands, and a small light came out of the point of it. All the fear simply erased, as well as the light, and everything else.
She feels as sleeping, then, again at her room,...
Safe, as nothing ever happened.
Some Considerations Necessary:
These are just the Races for this Action Tale's starting point Races, and they all must have proper Stories to show how they interact, how are their culture and attitude in front of the Universe. There will be more. All races may have subtleties. Basically, know that in Action Tale politics involve not criticize Other's culture, what's considered REALLY rude.
You'll need Narrative to exemplify these relations, so I'll get it as soon as Players settle some difficulties (I need them to decide their wishlists, and stuff). Proper plot. It happens that in Action Tale, all Players also plot (sometimes, against each other,...).
Anyway, I hope you like these (and soon, other) Races, and the Story that will come.
Now, follow these instructions.
If you want to contribute to Action Tale, go and Like our Facebook page and there you'll find more about the Fictional Universe, and discussions lead to other discussion groups. First, you define the race name, which is important and you must escape every Taboo words you can, or magic names, or bad language, it must be simple, and it may be approved then at our Facebook page. The description must be short, no more than one paragraph. Then, apply race modifiers, and that's ready to play.
Submit your suggestions at our Facebook page.
All help is welcome, and soon we'll be adding new races, technologies and cultures to Action Tale, more on that at our discussion groups, including Akkia and Action Tale's languages, or other groups that may happen to be created on the future.
The Secret exists, and Magic needs you.
Thanks for your pacience, and,...
Stay Plugged.
