Interspeech review (2012)

    Helo, everyone.

And Be welcome to my Adventure blog.

    Insterpeech is a conlang.

This is a trope grammar language, which is a very difficult idea to explain, and is a main language on my future works.

I'm following many fellow conlangers, artists and journalists on Facebook, and creating words by the analysis of the status updates. Weird? I think there are stranger ideas than this, but the main idea is that many will be used as words, grammatical features, and motes, this all together with my trope grammar, so this is an example of how it works.

Today I've created "bejofi" (/beχɔfi/) - what I see of you, "betramme" - the life of the young, or to live as the young, and "dothko" (/dɔθkɔ/) - game - a tooserious word.

I'm thinking to change "bejofi" to "bojfi", or maybe it's a different word.

And by December 23, I've decided to keep only "betramme", with same meaning from the status update from my fellow conlanger, or artist/journalist. As the original word came from a russian fellow, and as there was a possible tooserious word in mind, I've also decided this word is a tooserious word, so this way the word is a should-know concept. This is not so difficult, isn't it? But well, it takes time, as not all status updates are important, at least to my work with the proper creation of this language in special.

So here we go to the review on this language, and if you have any question contact me on my Facebook page Action Tale.

        Interspeech

Interspeech is a model grammar, which might be used to any vocabulary, on future Iehta (our Arda, lovely Earth), and this is a fictional auxiliary language, totally dependant on future human culture to render it's use, that is, from theater, moviemaking, anime, superpop culture, tradition, science and war, and every other characteristic proper to human, and human is called Terrant (from Terra - Earth). There is a huge effort into everything which is spiritual, scientific and also in entertainment vocabulary. Every tooserious word - which are should-know concepts - deals with things of a real importance to the Terrant superculture.

Type: artlang, fictional auxlang based on tropes (not clichés) :: tvtropes.org
Aesthetics: model grammar, naturalistic, terrant, totally dependant on terrant culture to produce sentences and also to be understood.
Phonetic inventory: it's based on the latin alphabet, and uses acute/backtick (crase) and umlaut to define variations, pronounce is similar to danish, latin or finnish.
Romanization: abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz, ý, vowels: normal, acute/backtick (agúdo/crase), and umlaut.

    Phonotatics: (C)(C)V
(vc)(C)(C), + vowel clusters (vc) up to 5 vowels - traoaiels - in which the vowel cluster is one only block and is added to the base vowel
Phonological rules: similarity with A pronounce, all vowels in a cluster are pronounced together as they were one only sound and the most prominent is the base for the meaning

    Morphology: fusional
Syntax: V2 - verb second, SVO – verbs of change are final, operator-argument dependant, and trigger firsts in mostly every basic sentences

Eastern and Western appositions: eastern is post – used after, western is pre – used before, to shows how this language can group various dialects within its own use.

Thematic relations (Trope particles): agent, topic (do), experiencer, pacient, participant, adressee (affected, counsciously), stimulus, theme, source, instrument, recipient, location, direction/goal, beneficiary, proper, purpose, change, condition, manner, number (counters), marker (topic, summoning, question), telic/atelic aspect.

Tenses, in the Trope grammar: Present (imperfect: -e; as in: ówbe – (I) exist/come; and imprerative mood: -te; as in: neachtite – judge well), Past Participle (perfect: -on; as in: maltíon (ló) – (I) slept well), Continuous (imperfect: -ie, or (-íy) for Action, -ing for State; as in: ówbie, coming – ówbing, existing), Participant (takepart together second and so agent/s: -s/-as; as in: die Malwa maltis – the dream dreams well), Probable (a subjective tense: -óg; also used to express a number of abstract meanings, and future; as in: twe Nivhwá owbóg – two persons (will probably) come), these being added to a number of auxiliar verbs to construct diverse meaning.
All others are shown or used with auxiliary and particles. The Copula is V2 (+e), phrasal verbs are presently used with particles, and as V2, but verbs indicating change must be final, same way a starting verb indicates frequency (usual, and or also called as the habitual tense) of an action, unless the trigger is declared when it occupies the first position, that is, the first part of a sentence and just before V2 or frequency position.

Special: third person singular conjugates present with -es/-des, as in: ówbes, s-he/it comes.
A Comment would right branch, which is, to be added to the right end.
To verb any word (formal), you hyphen it: -aly|-a. This may show a special akkia-related voluntarily identifying the speaker as female, as neutral-formal, or male with: -lye, -aly, and then -lyo. The -aly also forms a very producent form of creating a new word, as the -dade of portuguese, as in: -aliyyah (there are more options to do this).
A number of forms of Das (Das, Dels, Datten, Des, Dast, Dág, Drämmté, Doch, Domèg) start questions. They're various forms of questions, but they all can be used same way with Das.

    Names are capital letter, always.

Declension cases, Trope grammar: accusative case (definite, object; ending -n/-in/-ngi/-na/-nne), absolutive case (mark both the subject of an intransitive verb and the object of a transitive verb, in addition to being used for the citation form of a noun; ending -wa/-ta), and the connective case (this (1) binded to that (2); endings -l/-to(2) and -sta/-(1)). The case marking may have special cases, for some special words; see the dictionary - I'm still working on the vocabulary post.

Article use, start/final with Plural formation

The Trope Grammar use of plural is simple, but use the article die when you're pointing. There are two affixes in question, 1. am-/a- and 2. -us. The first pluralyze, and the second specify. This way Malti – good dream, would be singular, and indefinite, same as english – a dream. Then: Ammalti – the dream (specific), Maltius – Dreams (plural), and you may also use together, Ammaltius – The good dreams. All words in Interspeech are basically indefinite, but you can use the article before it, to make it definite, die Malti – The good dream, if you don't want to better specify singular or plural, or else, even the topic, which would be: do Maltius, or: Maltius do, for western/eastern variations.

The -m- in am-/a- may also be changed for a double of the first letter, if a consonant.

So, Amakalassaius, or Akkalassaius, for: The languages (Die Kalassaius).

This is a brief resume of Interspeech, and I'll have posts on vocabulary for each of my various languages for now on, so come back whenever you want to see what's new. I have also worked a few on my various projects Draka, Efemmera, Koresh, Tradelang, Shadow, Deathspeech, Uyu, Rakma, Ly'ène (Grey), Jackal, Apuka (a friend project), Aýlea, PIE incantations (Earth related), Fauk, and of course my pet language Akkia, the Storyteller's language. They all will feature my Novels, too, together with posts here at the Blog. It depends mostly on time to work proper the languages, and so I'll show them at the right time.

Then, I'll have more posts on the language, soon.

    Thank you, and Blessed be.

The Akkia Review

    Halloi (Helo), and Be welcome.

    The Akkia language sounds:

    Aabac :: a ā ä ạ b c d e ē ë f g h i ī ı j ĸ k l m n ń o ō ö p q r s t u ū ü v w x y ý ġ ż z

And this is the Akkia alphabet – phonetic ::
(with IPA symbols; thanks for the people who helped and have shown me the right sites to do this)

     a /a/, ā /a:/, ä /æ/, ạ /á/, b /b/, c /s/ or /k/ (or in compounds), d /d/, e /e/ or /ɛ/, ē /e:/, ë /ɘ/, f /f/, g /g/, h /h/, i /i/, ī /i:/, ı /ɐ/, j (a short /i/, or /ʐ/ or /ʒ/ or /dʒ/ or /h/), ĸ (a /k/ as a pause), k /k/, l /l/, m /m/, n /n/, ń (as /n/ but tonic), o /ɔ/, ō /ɔ:/, ö /ɵ/, p /p/, q (always as /kw/), r /r/, s /s/, t /t/, u /u/, ū /u:/, ü /Y/, v /v/, w /w/, x /ks/, y [a short /i/), ý (a short /i/ but tonic), ġ /χ/, ż /dz/, z /z/.

    Vowels: normal /a/, special (the ı sounds [ɐ]), tonal ạ (the ạ with a dot below is a tone above /á/), demivowels (j, n, v, w, y), tonic (ý, ń), ´acute (á) but not tonal except in letter a /á/, `backtick (à) but not tonal, long (ā, aa), and umlaut (ä /æ/, ë|ö /ɘ/ and /ɵ/, ü /Y/; ë and ö exchange as they are almost the same sound).

Diphtongues may have up to 5 vowels, but they have special rules and phonological changes in way to pronounce properly. Tonal á makes compounds in vowel clusters, /aá/ (rising, called low-high) and /áa/ (falling, called high-low).

Digraphs: (all double consonants call the stress onto the vowel just before it) bb, cc , dd, ff, gg, ch /ʃ/, or /tʃ/ or /χ/, gh (f), jj (as a jdj in /ʐdʐ/ or /ʒdʒ/), ĸ-vowel /k'/, ĸk (a pause before the /k/), kk, ll (always stressed), nn (long), ng /ŋ/, nń (low-high), ńn (high-low), pp, ss, sh /ʃ/, sch /sʃ/, tt, vv, ww, ýy (long, same as /i:/), zz /z:/ or /dz/.

Special letters: ĸ (pause), ġ (a strong sound, sometimes stronger than /χ/), ż (the dża sound is /dz/).

I'll do it for Oka as soon as possible, and post this in here.

Pronoun list: su|a (I, me), obba (you), ummu (s|he), iylki (it), me (me), ma (I/male), ioe (we), sana (we), hana (you, plural), zana (they), anna (someone), nga (no one), innaka (a topic person), do (you, hon), sha (house, your family), aka (e|o) (you, genderless, but you may use e|o to define your gender, only if a person’s close relation to you speaker).

Special note :: you double n with sanna, hanna, zanna, to indicate local (omae, native).

Women might use a number of special pronouns, like anata (indefinite person), or use iylki (it) to refere to a person, or even to use vi (I, female only) mutation; together with extense use of elle mutation. This happens in three degrees of female expression of self, from the myth of the sacred feminine – Maiden, Mother and Crone – to revere the three so different aspects of women's life, and permits a huge use of special mutations in terms of vocabulary, only found as a male counterpart in the male version Dealer's free mutation, as business needs more than formality.

    The Akkia Review

Type: artlang, fictional, for oracular conversation, terrant
Aesthetics: it draws vulcabulary from every other of Action Tale's languages, as interspeech, oka, ly'ène, draka, or others, but in phonology it sounds like a mix of finnish, japanese and arabic, naturalistic terrant, based on the servitude from the wakka nation to every other human nation, on our lovely Earth and or beyond
    Phonetic inventory: as seen above
    Romanization: as seen above

Phonotatics: (C)(C)(C)V[-ll-](vc)(C)(C), where [ll] double-l may be alone, and (vc) = vowel clusters (up to 5 vowels), and a double consonant may or may not be counted as one, or be in separated syllables
Phonological rules: no classical stress syllable, male dealer's mutation, female special mutations

Morphology: aglutinative, up to whole sentence level

Syntax: the following modifies the previous, V2, topic firsts, factual final verbs, it permits all five morphosyntatic alignments including tripartite, declension degree of mutation, ajd-n / suggestive n-adj, particles post, relative clauses cumulates left (in a partially left-branch tendency), argument dependant

Word Order: moderately free – topic/relative – verb – main clause – comment (or: factual final), as the basic sentence structure, but there are main other possibilities, specially for different morphosyntatic alignments

Tenses: Present (-a, and Personal 1st-person -o/-io; pure form or dictionary form of the verb), Simple Past (-tu, -u, or Past Participant -ou/-s), Continuous (-nta/-s), Participant (-s, -es), Probable (-i), Purpose (-on, shows intention, purpose, goal, proper, direction, change, beneficiary, together with suggestion), and Temporary (-re, not permanent actions, or with inherent no-time relation).
Additional tense: Nominal Personal (-su, create new words from personal)
Auxiliary and Particles: various, "da" as V2, all particles post
Final factual copula: dil-a (present), dul-a (past)
Negative verbs: ending -en, it forms negative meaning
A Comment would right branch, that is, to be after main clause
Numbers: there's no simple plural, and plurals usually create a new word; moderate use of counters
    Future auxiliary verbs: vai, asta
    Imperative: -te, te

    Possession: di/-a
Bias particles: involve what's spoken with the opinion from the speaker
    Politeness: moderately formal
    Emphatic Particle: sa
    New information Particle: wa
    Question/Answer: -ka/-ko
    Locus (in, at, on): to

Declension cases: the Nama – pure form (dictionary version; not a case), the Accusative (only one; [a~e]-ta, -le), the Dative/Lative (to, for narasalama; -i, +ni), the Genitive (possession, component or participation; -n (separate pronunciation), -in, -sawa), the Trigger (focus, that which triggers sense; [u]-a, -ea, -ia, -ya), the Partitive (indefiniteness; -ta, -[k]-iya), and the Equative (equality, or sameness; -e, +e)

Irregular formations: you speak about yourself to be more polite.

So, this is the resume Akkia review.

Thank you for your pacience, hope you're enjoying your reading, and,...

Tales of Supernatural (#02-3b)

    Helo, and Be welcome.

This is the second part of the side adventure The Village of Uke, by Sol Cajueiro, here at the Action Tale blog, so make yourself confortable and get ready.

Session of Play runned on November 29, 2011.

Please wait while I'm chosing the songs.

(On the Last session of play,...)

And so, the doctor came up, saying he let his nurse droid take care of everything, while they deal with the ghost upside. The ranger asked for a special medical adhesive to stay awake. The boy kept awake, trying to read a book which decides for itself what you want to read. Strange noises and ghostly mists were happening all the time, and the ranger continuously asked the boy to find it fast how they can deal with the monster.

Then, in the middle of the night, while the doctor was holding his Pk on his right hand, they saw her.

By the corridor, they all sensed danger on the place. A pale ghost of an eleven years old girl, stoped by the passage, looking like a dangerous weird figure.

About the Music :: I do not intend any offence to anyone's right, and I do not really own the music I suggest my readers listen during the Story; the suggestion is in honour to the musicians who created those beautiful songs, and I explicitly want to thank you very much.

I welcome your comments, on our Facebook page - Action Tale.

(The Village of Uke - Part 2)

Kappko is known for his dedicated time to online gaming, and debuging of game code. He never gained money for that, actually. He do that for pleasure. This way, he's the one person on the village of Uke who knows more computing than everyone else.

    Today is a different day.

He just can't stay on the cooking pod and pretend nothing's happening.

So, he keeps the Pk screen opened, down the balcony. He's trying to hack the cameras on the Doctor's house, so as this may be criminal, no one should see it. Every now and then, he codes something, and see what happens, but the only camera he could get was the front door camera, until then the images come. A very common house, from inside, nothing unusual unless you think the Ranger Boolwec is holding his gun, looking fearsome, and pointing in every direction, all the time.

"Think, Kappko. Think", he repeated to himself in silence.

Years ago, he revisited an old game board on the media, in which there was a very old game named Tales of Supernatural, with real information from phenomenology and pseudo-magicians lore. There was a level in which you needed to deal with a creature ghost, a "Haunter". It made the wall bleed. The game, now two centuries old, is no more a success, but it was on it's age.

Then, thinking about what happened, the man with no blood, blood on the walls, and seeing the Ranger acting as being "haunted", he thought it was a nice information. He found the board on the media, and copied the text so sent to the Doctor, who he sees on the camera is holding his Pk and analyzing data, at the same time he sees the spirit really assuming physical form in the corridor.

As the spirit Haunter appears, the image blurs and statics.

"They'll not have the time to read", he thought.

    (The Haunter by the Corridor)

Doctor Pellsèg looked at his Pk and saw the data on how to confront a Haunter.

But the haunter's now looking at them, by the corridor.

Strange sounds of squelching come from the walls, and the ten or eleven years old ghost look at them, with the chin a little low, and dark circles on her eyes. The boy looked at the Doctor's screen on the air, saw the word Haunter on there, and thought fast.

    This way, Dundièn Loi shouted.

    - Shoot her! - and the ranger very fast shoot the ghost.

As more fast as the ranger, the spirit haunter jumped, and while a green white ooze come from her, she got the ranger's mouth, and entered his throat down.

    - Aahh-rr-eeeeenn,... (says the possessed ranger),...
    - Get out of his body! - cried Loi.
    - Why? He's just shoot me,... you've been bad to mee,....
    - We didn't mean to - tried the boy again.
    - You didn't mean to? You just shouted him to shoot me! I know what to do,...

And she, armed with a gun, gives a direct hit on the ranger's foot.

The sound is listened by the small village's central square, but somehow no one noticed. Kappko was the only person to gives it the attention needed. He stoped what he was doing, an egg bacon sandwish with spicy sauce, to look to the screen down the balcony.

The student Loi jumped over the ranger, and as he's not in control of himself, the haunter's not so well trained as him to make anything. He imobilized his body. Trying to fight for freedom, while doctor Pellsèg put him to sleep with a dose of medicine he keeps ready for people in shock.

    - I don't know what happened, Loi - says the doctor - This just appeared on my Pk. It's a serious instruction on how to deal with this kind of ghost.
    - Let me see it - the boy got the screen on the air, and he had an idea.

Loi got the databank from the dead noble, and put the password "Haunter".

It opened, with no more words.

The databank shows that in fact the noble was not a noble, but he was really rich. He was interested in phenomenology lore, and he was investigating the Case. Some years ago, a small girl saved her best friend girl from a fire, but the other girl have not do the same in a moment later, she runned, and the small girl, eleven, died in the fire on that building, on the North Realms.

    - Did he had family, doctor?
    - The normal data on his Pk says he had a daughter. She died.
    - That's it. I'm sure of it - and he types it.

And the second password was in fact "Daughter".

    - What do we have in there, Loi? - the doctor was taking care of Kue the ranger's hurt foot.
    - It's no good. Wow. This haunter is centuries old - resumes the boy - It happen to life again and again, everytime a little girl dies the same way and so. And I've got her to my dreams, somehow,...

The waitress, on her couch, gave a loud hiccough, crying.

    - It says here 302 people had already died to this haunter, a number of,...
    - Hwóoah-rr-eeheee,... - they look to the ranger's body.

So, the haunter found a way to speak.

    - I wanted to keep those people from dying, doctor, but that's all done. She's waking. Be prepared, doctor, he's not himself. It's the haunter.
    - Yooou wanted not those people to die,...
    - I didn't. Hhm,... how may I call you?
    - So, these people shoudn't have to die?
    - Some people should die, but it's not our choice who would or wouldn't.
    - You don't know suffering and despair,... and YOU are my target number one, now. I shall give you suffering and despair enough to change your mind,... I've passed too much time with him,... and he'll wake in fire.
    - Wait! - shouted Loi, but it was too late.

So, the haunter got out off the ranger's body, by his mouth.

And the ranger awakens while his body, they tied him to the chair, was in fire.

    Music :: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XV3rt3dn0c8

    - AAAaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh,.....

Then, the ghost assumed the first pair of paws and prepared.

    - Do something! - shouted the doctor.

While the doctor tried to get the gun, a paw almost drilled him through.

    Music :: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bzNbzyM_nDE

He jumped on the ground, and rolled over to run away from the paw, which tried to attack him. He's an old guy, thought the boy, and I have no other options.

The boy Loi immedaitely opened his Grimoire, and thought of a way to put off the fire. Closed. And opened again, to read and do the magic, he didn't know how to do it, but he had no choice.

    - Hláhklammo Hu! - he shouted the words on the Book.

Immedaitely, the whole second floor became all water, and the water kept them from breathing. A huge sensation of "I'm going to die" assaulted them.

And so, the water materialyzed pure and starts to brake the house walls.

Kappko started to run, feeling they'd all die - he saw the gun being thrown down the stairs. He shouted "Someone turn off mah grill!", while running.

He crossed the central square of Uke running fast.

    This time, everyone noticed.

Meanwhile, they stood breathless, underwater, but the fire extinguished.

    - Quick! - Kappko shouted to the doctor's droid - The 'ouse's going to come down! Get the doctor's most 'mportant things off now!

While the droid was thinking about it, he rushed upstairs.

    - Stop now, girl! I know your story! - shouted Kappko, but he was not successful on his bluff, and the spirit looks at him as the next target.

    The spirit girl's laughing.

Now with the ranger's gun he got on the stairs, he so shoots the haunter. Once. Twice. She was already in the haunter form of four paws, two arms and legs in the air. He knows it's her time to attack, but the bullets went in slow motion inside the strange water conjured. They hitted. And so, all the walls start to come down, the water goes through the windows, the whole house is ruined.

Only the stairway stays intact, and Kappko hides the ranger's gun.

    (The Haunter disappears)

Everyone on the Uke village went to see what was happening.

    Music :: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ctjKV-IbG78

Doctor Prasséc Pellsèg's house came down. They see the droid coming out with a huge box of bioplastic, and the cookman Kappko coming from the stairway, the only part of the house still intact.

    - Help! Help, everyone! Call 'mergency now! - shouted Kappko, coming down.

While everyone called emergency, he started to look for Dundièn Loi the boy, the doctor, and the ranger Kue, and he found Loi in the sideyard.

    - Loi! I hited it, but then i'all came down - says Kappko.
    - My grimoire? - the boy asked in total despair.
    - I don't know. Let's find the oth'rs. They can be down the wreck'ge.
    - That's a mad dog coming - and Loi stands up the faster he could to run away from the neighbor's four fronted legs dog, a black menace barking at them, and while Kappko went to the street, Loi went the backyard.

It was there, by the side of Boolwec Kue's still living body.

Pretending to see if he's still breathing, he didn't know how he managed to do it, but he got his Grimoire and hides it inside the ranger's dreams.

The two polizie officers, the ranger's men, get off the small polizie place.

Soon, everyone's helping with the wreckage and rescue.

Minutes later, the emergency came. Ranger Kue, with a strange skin condition, was the first to be taken to a special ambulance, and as soon as the surgeon comes, the city was safe - it was everyone's thought - but Loi knows now the haunter's missing, they won only the first battle.

Loi fainted, but was put to rest in a room on the polizie place, and some time later he woke up.

    - Stay there, lying, boy - says a man.

    Music :: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7pmXZxOJWFA

He decides to get off his body, breathe a few times, and saw the square at night.

Then, he sees two firemen talking and gets closer to listen.

    - ,... so it's probably a haunter.
    - That's bad. Who's the boy, who show the strange aura?
    - He's a local, chief. The trace is his, so somehow he's an arcanist.
    - I bet he doesn't know what he was doing.
    - That's for sure, chief, but he saved the day in here.
    - Which class is the haunter?
    - It's a Class Two. I know, i know. It's really rare, but we cannot deal with this right now, chief. Those missing in the other city are much more important now.
    - I know. The media's on the case. How much time we have, until the next manifestation?
    - A month, maybe.
    - Let's take care of Case Missing, and so we come back in a month.
    - Yes, Chief. I'll say it the other agents.

But then, Loi was called back to his mind by a man.

    - Hey, boy! - the man raises his voice.
    - Oh, oke. What is it?
    - You looks like you're in shock. But you're not hurt. Go home, now. The officer's going your home tomorrow to get your testimony.
    - I want to talk with the surgeon,... sir.
    - The ranger's oke. Happy for everyone, the cookman's smell sense is the best in town. He saved the day, we already know everything, but still you're coming tomorrow for testimony, oke?
    - Hhm,... yes, sir.

A neighbor was outside to take Loi his home.

His father was waiting for Loi.

    (Day 4, Saturday)

Loi woke, and while he has time to do it, he decides to make the only ritual he knows. To enter the Dream plane, and get his grimoire back.

When he got back, the Book just disapeared.

So, he was really shocked, when he done his testimony this morning.

The polizie officer considered his testimony as halucinations. Better this way, he just thought. And so, as each one had given a halucination testimony, they all had to make some dangerous virus tests, but soon they all were home again, but the sensation of the haunter presence didn't disappeared.

Kappko, who got the deadman's Pk, investigates it.

Seen the data, he knows now the girl haunter's name is probably Ayalwa. She's more than 200 years old, what makes a haunter much much stronger.

    - Kappko, I guess the girl's just a memory.

    (Day 5, Sunday - at Kappko's Sandwisherie)

    - I'm not so sure, Loi. It looks she's not `ere anymore, or else, she's waiting.
    - We need to get prepared. She will come back. I've gone the Castle today, in astral form, and the spirit of the woman which lives in there says she'll help us, because a haunter is just the oposite of a free spirit. It's a spirit of regret, and she got angry with the presence of the haunter. The orange lake almost cured me of the hurt, but the man yesterday, he just called me back somehow, and I had no time to dure myself.
    - You say those men were talkin` about c`ming back in a month, hoe?
    - Yes. It means they know what happened.
    - Yoe, boy. It means another thin', too. It means the sp'rit'll come bac' to haunt and kill us. Study yoa'r book to see what we're goona do, pawn.
    - You have my word, Kappko.

They talk on the only moment the grill had a moment of rest.

    - Why the officers just asked nonsense to us, Kappko?
    - They mus'be under magic, pawn. You saw the 'mergency men talkin'.
    - Who are they? How can they know what happened there?
    - They work fo' da Gov, Loi. 'tis a secret. They erase people's mind, and hides da truth. 'tis said they kill those who know too much, yeah. Belie'me, boy.
    - Dunno, Kappko. But we better get prepared.
    - Yeah, u're oke, we goona prepare, and kick 'em outa Uke - says the cookman.
    - They're going to come back - concludes Dundièn Loi.

Nothing more happened, the day following.

(At The Region of Ruins, Tol Rim)

A huge and strong vision, in which a number of commons try dealing with a Haunter. He sees it's a Class Two spirit of regret, probably 200 years old.

He also feel their fear in dealing with the unknown.

And so, Borttom got back to himself.

Takket was drinking his tea, and with much care, he spoke.

    - A vision, Borttom?
    - Crap. This I ain't liked. Going outside, smoke a ciggar. We talk later.
    - I know the feeling, Borttom.

And this way, Takket had the feeling again.

A feeling that it all is planed, but as they say in the Mythology.

    Mortal's are the choices.

(End of Session, and Parallel storyline)

    Some Considerations necessary

Who was in fact the man who died at the village of Uke?

Mister Kue was walking his village, when he got to the central square and saw a very expensive car in front of the tavern, a bar with more than a hundred sandwishes on the menu, and the only safeplace for eating on Uke. It's a very old house, two floor, and there's a number of shops on the right.

Dundién Loi was passing. He must get to school before 08:15 morning. Loi sees the ranger Kue by the entrance of Paalxi's sandwicherie, but he stops at the sense of something. A sense of out of place, something in the square is different, or gathers that sense which makes you think there's a wrong thing around, was it a weirdy, a nightmare, or a damned item, he doesn't know.

He almost forgot everything about it, during math test this morning.

Kue first looked at the car. A very expensive vehicle, some only the corporates can use because the right of use is restricted, and probably armored.

    - Good morning, Kappko - he says.
    - Oha! Mornin', ranger Kue. Whareo need?
    - Black caoffee and no sweet.
    - Here's it. 'f you want a sandwich, just ask. Hi, old Doe. Wap?
    - Mroning, cook - says the old man, and he nodded to cumpliment Kue, looking to the foreigner sitted at the table six drinking a freshfruit juice and analyzing a screen.
    - Wharyou need, Doe? - asked Kappko.
    - Give me a stroke of scrambled eggs wi' bacon - says the old man.
    - Excuse me - says mister Kue.

He went to talk to the foreigner, stoping by his table.

    - Helo, visitor. Be welcome to Uke - says the ranger.
    - Ohe, thank you, ranger. I'm just passing. On a trip to Ryklant. But the city's great. Is that a mythic era's castle, I can see by the valley ends?
    - It's private. The family holds the right for the last millennia, or so.
    - There's a cemetery, also. Huge.
    - The older the city, the bigger it's cemetery - says the ranger.
    - What's the speciality of this city, if you please?
    - You're on the right place. Our cookman's the best place to eat, but I would taste the sweets. We have a local cooperative which produce delicious candies, in here.
    - I'll have it, later - says the man - Thank you.
    - If you need something, just ask.

The man smiled, but it looked he was feeling pain, or something.

Of course, the ranger took a very good look at the screen, and it shown the stock market tables. A thing only a rich person would care. Someone with money to buy anything, who could buy the city castle and it wouldn't make a mess on his schedule.

The young bullying boys got to eat, and at the sight of the ranger, they stay calm and caused not problems. Mister Kue's respected by the whole village, same way his father before.

So, the day went right and the sunset was beautiful.

Youngsters went to the main square to celebrate the moon entity, the Bloody, and this time the raýla moon was mostly something one could not describe.

    Red, bloody and immense.

The second moon was not at the sky, by the time the cookman closed.

    (Day 2 - Thursday)

    Music :: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dyww-gD-KOE

At the morning, the ranger Kue received a call, and it was the cookman Kappko saying "Ranger, come here. I don't know what to say. Please, come here" and he went. The sanduicherie was closed. The cooker opened the door, and it was about sunrise. Kue didn't understood a word he was saying, but Kappko took him up the hostel rooms, and opened the room two.
The richman host was on the bed, and he's dead.

Blood features the whole of the room, from the roof to the door, and there's an air of wrong on the place, which a very experienced ranger looked, and closed the door.

    - How did you find him?
    - 'was coming to see 'f 'e wanted someth'g an' h'was dead. Every morning, I do cleanse on the bathrooms, an' take 'e garbage wastes.
    - Close the room, and don't let anyone get up here. I'll see the doctor first, so he'll say what happened. You do your work as nothing happened, because the killer must be around.
    - Yews, sir - answered the cooker.

The morning was running normal, to most of the 329 inhabitants, and for the last 9 years mister Kue served the village of Uke, by the borders of Tachiza and Abbas, since he mastered ranger at the police corporation, this was the very first time he had no clue of what's going on.

He called Doctor Prassèc Pellsèg saying this was a call of duty.

The doctor, when came to the place, stared at the room. He moved his left hand to mouth and down, as every doctor should do, and started to think.

After some investigation, Pellsèg concluded the blood from the dry body simply exhaled from the body, and it went in every direction.

And so, he saw a thing at the window.

    - See here, ranger - says the doctor - It's a hand, like one of a child. Maybe eleven years old. And it's from outside the window. Kappko, was this window opened, when you came into the room?
    - Nope, wasn'd. 'tis the same way i' was, by the time I got in.
    - What do you think it can be, doctor?
    - I don't know, ranger. But,... as soon as the phenomenologists come here, you'll lose your ranger status, and the village will be on the news.
    - I know - says the ranger - Kappko, we need to talk with Bo. Do you know if she's on her room?
    - She's 'ome, ranger. I'll take you to 'er room on the back o' the hostel.

While doctor Pellsèg continued analyzing the dried body, the ranger went down with the cookman to talk with the beautiful girl who lives on the back of the restaurant. After going down the stairs, he noticed he could see the window which the doctor found the little hand, and the cookman knocked on the door. It took sometime until the young lady open it.

    - Good morning, Drýka Bo - says the officer - I need to talk to you. Kappko.
    - Oke, ranger - says the cookman - 'll wait on the front. 'f ya need me, just call.

The young lady's just woke up, and didn't understood a thing.

    - Any problem, ranger? - she asked.
    - I need to ask you if you listened to anything wrong during the night.
    - Well,... - she passed her left hand on her head and hair - yes. I could not sleep well, 'cause I stay listening to a sound, as it was a branch hitting a window. Like,... repeatedly. "Tack, ta-tacke, tack" all night long, and I think I've listened to a child's voice, like, singing. She was afraid, or maybe crying.
    - Good. Don't you have to work today, miss Bo?
    - No - she's looking terrible - I've just sent a message to the tavern, saying I'm sick. I just got a cold. Nothing serious, hope not.
    - Oke. Stay home, but call Kappko if you listen to anything strange.
    - Is there something wrong, ranger?
    - Yes, but I need you not telling this anyone. I'm working on something important, Bo, and so don't tell I've came to talk to you yet or it will mess us up.

Once the waitress agreed, he looked she locking the door, and went up again.

    - This is serious, ranger - says doctor Pellsèg - This person had all his blood drained while dying, and he's face shows fear. Look. There's no fingerprints besides his own, and the only thing not covered with blood is this small table, at the right of the bed.
    - Someone took all his blood off him.
    - No, ranger. The blood we can see on the walls is not his same blood type.
    - Now I agree with what you've said, doctor. If we make it public, the phenomenologists will come as soon as the wind blows. We need to solve the crime without calling them, or the media will talk about it for the next century, and we're going to lose our village to the supernatural mad people.
    - I'll call the city council to talk, by my house, in about three hours. We're going to need someone with a special lore on what's happening.
    - What do you mean, doctor?
    - The boy, our best student in town; Dundièn Loi.
    - What about him?
    - He'll probably be on the central square by now, watching.
    - Do you suspect of him?
    - No. No, no. He's studying magic, ranger, and you're going to need his guidance. I know, oke. But we just can't throw away the possibility that this is a supernatural occurrence, ranger.
    - I'll go talk with him, and he's going to be my assistant.
    - And I, well, the elders will need about an hour to go my house, so keep your eyes opened.
    - I'll call Kappko and order to close the second floor.

    Music :: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oNvFPKujc5w

That said, the ranger send a message to his two assistant officers, to duty. He explained they must not call the attention of the people, but must take turns into watching the village. Anything strange must be reported, even small things can give a hint of what's happening. They don't ask, just do. And as the doctor said, the best student was on the plaza reading a book, but he immediately looked the ranger coming, and looked as knowing something was wrong. The ranger doesn't like this kind o' thing.
    - Come with me, Dundièn Loi.
    - May I help you, ranger? - the youngster asked promptly.
    - This time, you'll be my assistant. Let's go the doctor's house, and have a little talk. Don't stay out of my line of sight.

After explaining the young boy what's happening, he was surprised doctor Pellsèg knew about his studies about magic, but agreed to help. Dundièn explained he never told anyone he studies dreamcasting magic, which is what their village name means from the mythic era word, Huhka, but the ranger replied.

    - The elders know much more than you think, Loi.
    - Not on our village, ranger. Magic is a secret so old and lost, no one knows much about it. I study it from a grimoire, which was my grand grandfather's. I study dreamcasting.
    - Right oke. Let's go get your book right now, and see what you can find.

They went Loi's house, by the end of the valey, where they can see the old Aoke family castle, on one side, and the Valey of Shadows on the other.

Loi's father is blind, but he was happy when his son says he's a ranger trainee now.

Then, after Loi got his book, they went back to doctor Pellsèg's house.

    (After the Elder's meeting)

Loi was the whole morning inspecting his grimoire to see what he could do. When the elders got to a conclusion, they are in the case. They decided they don't want phenomenologists on their village, and gave order to the ranger to solve the crime before it comes to the media.

    - It's a Haunter. Look - says the boy, showing the page.
    - Are you trying to say there's a ghost killing people on my town, boy?
    - That's exactly what I'm saying, ranger Boolwec.

The ranger didn't know if he should laugh or take that seriously.

    - And how do we kill it?
    - Huh,.... it doesn't say in here. Let me see,... it just say here we can open a portal to the dream plane while it's at the point of killing someone, and to face it and talk to it to discover it's weakness.
    - Great. It sounds like serious babbling to me - confronted the ranger.
    - No, ranger - says Loi - It's serious. It says here it will start killing everyone, and it can kill an entire population, and so the dream plane dead it take days to turn the place into a necropolis.
    - I don't know anything about what you're saying.
    - Believe me. We're in deep danger.

The ranger Boolwec Kue never ever believed in ghosts. His training at the police corporation ended nine years ago, and they receive the best training on Akkoya. But well, he always listened strange stories the old officers tell, and now he just hope this is not the case.

So, there at the doctor's house, they listened the boy Loi with disbelief.

Night came, and the ranger took the boy his house.

    (During the second Night)

Dundièn Loi decides to walk the dreams of his village.

He just passes on with the proper ritual, the only ritual he's a master, to open the dreamway and so entered some people's dream this night.

After going the ranger's dreams, he entered the young waitress Drýka Bo's dream.

She's crying on her dreams, and he watches everything.

Suddenly, the dreams started to attack him. A huge cloud of black birds appeared from nothing, and a canion formed under his feet. He started to fall, and controlling dream he created a passage off there, taking the black birds with him to his own dreamcasting.

And he got aware, breathing fast.

    - Shit - he says - I've got the Haunter to my dreams.

He puts his hand on his face, knowing he's doomed now. And so, he waited the day break and go tell the ranger what happened.

    (Day 3 - Friday)

    Music :: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pUd8ki1sMxc

    - I'm talking seriously, ranger. I've took the Haunter to my dreams.
    - Do you enter people's dreams while they're sleeping, boy? This is too invasive, even if I don't believe in anything like magic, to tell the truth.
    - I've got the Haunter with me, and I'll have to kill it now - the boy mumbles in fear.
    - He may be talking seriously, ranger - says the doctor.
    - Doctor, we need the information which is in the man's Pk computer now. I know this is a crime, but we're in an investigation, a murder investigation. What do you think?
    - Hhm,... I agree. The only one on town who could do it is Kappko.
    - I'll go there and ask him to break the codes.

While the ranger went to Kappko's, Loi started to walk from one side to another, on the second floor of doctor Pellsèg's house.

    - My 'olographic table's broken, ranger.
    - Kappko, this is serious. We need this information, and I know you hate agreeing with me and the doctor to move the body during the night, but I am the law in here. If we decided to do it, we need to find the guilty before it leaves town, and that's probably today. We need to know who the dead man was.
    - I agreed to move the body because you've sai' me to agree, ranger. But hacking a Pk is a non-bailable crime, and I'm goin' jail fo' that.
    - Kappko,...
    - Oooke. That's oke, ranger. I'll do it, but you assume the reapons'bility fo' that.

The best gamer in town turned his holographic table on, and started hacking the Pk computer, on the back rooms of his old sick father's restaurant. In about two hours, all the information was recovered. The ranger so tell him to erase all the information, and he did it soon away.

But so, the specialist in games started to think about everything that's happening, and watch everything from his own table computer.

The ranger went back the hostel restaurant to talk to the girl Bo.

    - We need to talk, Bo - says him - Get dressed, and come with me right now.

She got some clothes, but even if she didn't know what's happening, she's confident the ranger's doing all he can do to the good of everyone.

    (Back to the Doctor's house)

    - Doctor, we're on quarantine now, and you'll say this if someone asks. Tell them we've got a cold, and to avoid passing this to everyone, we're under care.
    - Hhm,... oke, ranger. But the man's car is still on the front of the sanduicherie. I tell you to ask on eof the two officers to take it to the ranger office.
    - I'll do it.

The doctor so sealed the second floor's metal grid door.

    Music :: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4KCx5cPrH8

    - Now, boy. You say what we need to do.
    - Hhm,... ranger - says the girl - I'm not feeling well. I'll take a room and rest, is that oke?
    - That's oke, Bo. Go get some rest.
    - Ranger, all I can do is to investigate my grimoire to see what to do.
    - So do it. I'm organizing the investigations from my Pk, and if you're not telling the truth, you know now you're my first suspect. Be careful, boy.
    - I'm not lying. I know what's happening.
    - Me too. I don't see magic anywhere, boy, and you're my suspect.
    - But,... - he just sighed, and looked at his grimoire.

Two hours later, the ranger and the boy listened to a strange noise from the room the girl was sleeping. The ranger mouthed "Stay here" to Loi, and went to see.

When Kue opened the door, he saw a ghost around the girl and she was in up the air.

He didn't know what to do at the sight of it.

The ghost desapeared, and the girl softly went down the bed. So, the closet door opened and he took his gun off the holster, but nothing happened. He went back the entrance room and the boy saw his pale face, put his book away and got up to talk.

    - What happened?
    - It IS a ghost - says the ranger - I've seen it, right now.
    - The book says the Haunter's stronger as a powerful wizard during the days after "eating". Yes, it ate the man it killed.
    - What are we going to do, now?
    - I'm working on it, but the book stay changing to pages with nothing to do with the case, to show pages about opening portals.

They listened to a haunting noise, from the back of the corridor.

    - Go on, boy. The case is yours, and we are doomed. I'll call the doctor from downstairs.
    - I'm working on it, ranger.
    - Do your best.

Minutes later, doctor Pellsèg was taking pulse from the ranger and the boy, to see nothing was wrong.

At this moment, when the doctor was taking pulse of the boy, the ranger saw a white small hand coming from the side of the boy's head. He saw the ghost of a small girl, about eleven, behind the boy's head, and when she saw him looking she just disappeared.

    - It's a ghost, doctor - he says - I've just seen her. She's a small girl, eleven. Man, we're doomed. Don't you think we should call the phenomenologists now, doctor Pellsèg?
    - They would destroy our city, and the case would go to the media as a phenomenologist case, what would for sure bring all kind of mad people to town - resumed the doctor.
    - Boy, the case's yours. Just find a way to take this "thing" away, or,...
    - I'm working on it, ranger - says Loi.

Doctor Pellsèg went back the rooms to take his medicine, and the noise of wood cracking and a man's scream got the ranger off to run and see what was that. When he got to the rooms on the backside, there was a ghost with four spider legs and a mouth of dangerous teeth ready to kill and eat the doctor.

He took his gun and shoot twice. Pah! Pah! - and it disappeared.

The doctor's white coat was full of a substance part green part blue, when he got the man up his feet, and they went to the main room again.

    - Wake the girl, doctor - the ranger says - No one's safe here. Boy, what do you have?
    - We need to talk with the haunter, to understand it's story and break the curse over it's spirit, but nothing on how we could defend ourselves.
    - Damn it! Keep doing your research, boy. Doctor, I need caoffee.
    - I'll do it, but please stay calm, ranger.
    - It's a daemon, doctor! It a real real daemon.
    - It's not a daemon, ranger - says the boy - We would be in real danger if it was a daemon.
    - Doctor, I need caoffee please.

Hours were passing, and here and there the ghost appeared, haunting them.

The girl started to shake in fear, and squeezed on the sofa. The ranger looked the streets all the time, but it seems his gunfire wasn't listened on the village. He keeps saying "We're doomed", madly, what didn't helped the boy to find anything useful on the grimoire.

(That night, at the Doctor's house)

    Music :: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PheCRfqXDwk

When it comes night, they started to see the haunter ghost moving, making noises.

    Moving things, appearing and disappearing.

They didn't sleep, and the fear was in the air, making breathing difficult.

The girl was shaking all the time, and so she fell asleep.

Only to wake with the squelching noise on the house, and start to cry, and the ranger took off his shirt, branding the gun in various directions.

    (End of Session)

How are they going to succeed?

Academy 101 (#01-3)

    Helo, and Be welcome.

    Doing revision.

This will be here as soon as possible.

    #01-3 :: Eryck.

    A Story by Sol Cajueiro.

    Thank you.

What a Ghost dreams (#03-1)

    Halloi (Helo), and Be welcome.

This is a story by Sol Cajueiro, about the life and work of a Phenomenologist, but a different one. His special participation on the greater Events are unknown. His work is a wonder. His life, apparently common, is to show us that things are not randomic, and Chaos is not responsible for the changes alone, a man, a medic, a paranormal investigator, even if an uncommon one, with his own view off the heroe's path.

This is Adventure #03 :: The Phenomenologist

    So, welcome reading.

About the Music :: I do not intend any offence to anyone's right, and I do not really own the music I suggest my readers listen during the Story; the suggestion is in honour to the musicians who created those beautiful songs, and I explicitly want to thank you very much.

    What a Ghost dreams (#03-1)

    Day 1

He woke up. Bathed and dressed, to went down and talk to his pacient, a lone lunatic, with power enough in his blood to stay normal for the time necessary.

    - You'll be able to stay here. (he says). I'll let a camera here. Visits each two days. Good luck with your new life.

The pacient, barely able to understand this all, only tried to smile, unsuccessfully.

Twistan went to the clinic, to take notes on everything.

His main computer's not on common space.

Behind his labour office, there's a magic entrance to a construct. This is a parallel plane, artificial, one of his most precious secrets, absolutely hidden.

He went to analyze the blood he collected at the bleeding house.

The blood has more than 90% of equivalence with ejik blood, but it register 2% with fauk arborean blood. It means it's probably a generic blood. Doctor Hyddeg injected the blood into a rat. It becomes accelerated, his heart gone faster and faster, and he fainted. Some time later, the rat was up again, with no consequences of that injection of the generic blood.

    He got off his apotekary.

While helping himself oaffee and sisco cream, he sees a house on sale down the valey.

When Dr. Twistan Hyddeg came to the house, he sees it was a very beautiful site. The house's beautiful and big, with gardens and a vine on the left which ends in the stones backyards, a little lake, 12 normeasures large, is oposed to the parking area, in which an armoured car is parked. The second floor looks like even more beautiful. An interspace, on the southwest, in which you can see the social hall and a balcony on the second floor, gives birth to a vision of the entire region, all with a granger in each hill, but the trees stop the vision from the other houses to this one, and one can only see it from the mountains up.

Hill's Mouth is the name of this bewitching valey.

The man is using social expensive clothes.

    - Helo, (says Dr. Hyddeg), I'm here to see the house.
    - Oh, helo. Please come in. Do you accept an oaffee, or water?
    - Oaffee, with sugar, please - says Twistan.
    - I'm Poe Wlavimergen - says him, shaking hands with the visitor.
    - Doctor Twistan Hyddeg. Nince to meet you.
    - Ohe, a Doctor. It's an imense pleasure. Come, I'll show you the house.
    - It's beautiful. Why are you selling it, by the way?
    - Ohe,... I'm a politician, and it has been an year of great changes in the Alliance, I mean, people are being moved, here and there. I'll have to go to Tanahta, to work directly with the Première.
    - It's a very beautiful house, indeed. What's that on the backyard?
    - Ruins - says Poe - From the mythic era. The house's new, compared with that, of course. It's five hundred years old, and I have all debts and taxes settled, and a reform was made five years ago.
    - The small lake, are there fishes in there?
    - Ohe, yes - the man says - You like fishing? And that are fruit trees, on the other end.

On the back of the house, a small rock shows a door notched, cut on the wall. It has a doghouse, and a perfect place to take a nap with a awning and windows made of natural wood (expensive, as something only people with much credit would have on their house). There are two treehouses, on the right side of the stones, and the water source by their side, it's a true paradise.

They went to see the basement.

It obviously was a perfect place to grow fungus, dark and umid.

When back the house, he looks the rocks from a window, the grey appearance of them, he can see the small lake and also, from the second floor, you can see if a car comes.

"It must be the key", thinks the phenomenologist.

There is still another floor up there, an attic, which is all covered with natural wood, and there's a huge number of pads and an expensive carpet hands on the interior, an old oaffee machine on the iron desk, and a medium size bed, with drawers below.

    - How much do you want for the house, sir?
    - Nine hundred thousand credits. It comes complete, with furniture.
    - Ohe,... a shame. I could only pay four thousand.
    - You see,... I'll have to leave to Tanahta in three days. If I don't sell the house, it will stay here. But, I'll probably not come here unless the Alliance calls me back.
    - Well, if you decide - says Twistan - I'll have the money in cash.
    - It's pretty temptative, Doctor, but I don't exactly needs the money. The house will still be on sale, if you decide to come. Do you have a card?
    - Of course. Here, take it. And call me, if you change your mind.
    - I will, so - says the man - Take care.
    - Thank you, you too.

This way, Dr. Hyddeg got to his sedan and drives to the hospital up the mountains.

    (Back to the Hospital)

He noded to the attender, smiled to a junior doctor, and went to his office.

Back there, at the construct, he goes back to the rats.

Now, Twistan injected the blood on a rat with cancer, and starts to analyze the traces. His abilities with blood give him much more information than a common doctor would have. Then, papers. He spent the rest of the day analyzing this relic he now possesses. A generic blood. It could give him the Healer's Prize, next year or so, but he doesn't need anyone to know his so deep understanding of that magic, no one needs to know, but himself.

    Day 1, by Night

Doctor Hyddeg decides to search for blood on the Alliance.

An hour or so of research gives him the information he already have, that a blood which acts both as animal and vegetal doesn't exist. Not, in official records.

    Music :: http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1

He so tries to serach for the noble owner of that house on the network, and,...

----- táaamp ----- Invation attempt: Blocked (the computer beeped).

"Hhm,... He's a high employee, so,...", he thinks.

The result of that search was to show Poe's family's older as the time of mythic era, and had worked for the Ejik Empire, and for the Alliance formed so after.

It says he's a descentant of a mythic entity, "Tacke,...".

----- táaamp ----- Invation attempt: Blocked (repeats the computer).

"Enough information", and he restarted the computer, erasing the data, and selecting the blood research as ghost data on his computer.

    Day 2

After a few hours of sleep, Dr. Hyddeg woke and went to take breakfast, oaffee with bread and honey, while watching the news cast.

Taika's stock market letters are down, and they produce equipments, so this is a bad time to buy anything for the hospital.

    Nothing new during this morning.

So, he went to eat out in an expensive restaurant on Tol Rim downtown, by the side of The Old Museum and The Grand Hotel of Tol Rim. A place rich people go to eat. The very large avenue cuts downtown east west, and while the Museum stays at a square in middle, the large avenues surrounding it, the Hotel's by the northside and is the oldest hotel in town and, at the top of it, the High Restaurant awaits.

Many people divide the streets down there, all busy.

As Dr. Hyddeg has ordered his secretary to make a reservation, by the time he got there, a man was waiting to welcome him and take him to his table.

Every famous people come here, and Twistan Hyddeg feels home, specially because he senses their blood asking for more, each time their most precious greedy wishes give him what he wants, and how to deal with each one of them, with time.

This time, there was a different group in there.

An important politician, a woman in red dress, was talking with what looks like a skeighta, about nineteen, and a child who was playing with the food. Both the skeighta and the child doesn't belong here. It's obvious. But no person at this place has Hyddeg's advantage, acquired when he put an end to his own family, in his first ritual in life, to get the power of blood. He got mad, it's certain. But he is, indeed, other than the healthy doctor he plays, because by that bloody ritual, he developed a second mind, which in secrecy plot, undetectable.

His second mind notice a man going out of the bathrooms.

He review his memory and sees the man had not "got in" those rooms, but then this all disappears from his common mind, and he watches the watcher.

The man goes his table, but his attention's on that weird group's table.

He get an strange clock off his pocket, and put back.

Twistan reads the skeighta's lips, and he was asking "Where's the bathroom?", so he calmly stand up and head to that rooms, with the perfect notion this was dangerous.

By the moment he gets in, he cast Detection, a very usual spell.

There's something on one box, but it's locked. He gets a pot out off his jacket, and controls the gold to enter the engine and undo that magic sealing. It opens, and as he looks, it's a bomb. The bomb is marked to explode in about a minute, not time enough to get off the restaurant. He breathes calming his own mind, and plot.

He gets off the box, controls the gold moving it to surround the vase, making the aport diagramation, and teleport it upwards two kilomeasures, with no sound because of the gold in the magic. With the other half of the gold, he circle every other vase in there, and ready to blow the up. When he senses the skeighta is coming, he explodes the vases and water came out from them, rapidly flooding the bathrooms, and so, he erase his first mind memory while he steps on the water, on the exact moment the skeghta comes in.

    - What the horde? - shout the skeighta, watching that everything.

Dr. Hyddeg hits his head on the ground, and faints.

But still, his second mind, in absolute silence, watches what happens around him. And everything goes the way it was really planned, in a moment of plot.

The skeighta's a psychic, and his telepaty says the man there knows nothing.

He's only at the wrong place, at the wrong time.

So, a large "Booooooommm,..." happens up there, somewhere.

    - Holy mecenas! - shout the skeighta, and he gets the man off the bathrooms, and shouts security.

    - What happened? - ask the security guard, coming closer very fast.
    - I don't know, the vases all exploded. He slipped onto the water, hit his head's what happened.
    - Put him up this table, here. Calm down, alright - says the security man.

    - Right ohe, now,... (says the security), who're you?

Almost immediately, the woman in red dress was there.

    - He's with me, Hohman - says her sweet voice.
    - Ohe, Senator, I'm sorry. This man slipped onto the water, at the bathrooms. Lohne, (he calls another man), go look the bathrooms. Get back to me. Yes, well, Senator, I,...
    - You don't need to apologize, Hohman. My invitee was on the right place, at the right time. He always do this, but I think I've listened to an explosion,...
    - That,... (the man's voice shakes, with her power), that was up in the sky, my lady.
    - I see, I see,... - she says.

Meanwhile, Twistan senses the skeighta's mind investigating his own, first one, to find a very investigative and so common mind of a dangerous phenomenologist.

He so listen to the skeighta's voice, in a low tone, talking with the Senator woman in red.

    - He's a phenomenologist. What do we do, now?
    - Nothing, (her voice was calm, now), better this way. Let us get back to our table, we're leaving. This place will be full of phenomenologists in one hour, believe me. We can't let them see The Avatar. Get back to our table, and say her we're leaving, in five minutes. I'll do the rest, here. Go.

Her voice was low tone, too, but he listened to everything she says.

Then, he waits, and waits, and sometime later, it happens.

    The Corporate Police came.

While other were talking to the security, and some were designed to guide the Senator out, he senses a mind, another psychic, analyzing his clean phenomenologist common's mind. The man went no longer than that, and wait until talk with his superior.

    - 16D, we got a problem. The man's a phenomenologist doctor.
    - Ohe, shit,... - says 16D in low tone - Clean up the mess. Collect all energies. Make it fast, and let's get the case to the common police, ohe shit, as soon as we can, 32. This place's gonna get dirty with those mad rats in minutes, and now, let me do the dirty job. Go.

The man's footsteps went in the direction of the bathrooms.

Minutes later, the common police came, and together, the phenomenologists.

    - Oóohh,... - Twistan wakes, putting his hand over his head.
    - Don't move too much, sir - asks a doctor police - You've slipped at the bathrooms. But you're oke, not a scratch, you're lucky.
    - Helo, sir - says a dark man, in smoking - I'm the Security Chief. You don't have to pay. It's all our fault, and we beg your pardon.
    - Oóhhh,... it's,... it's oke, I'm fine.
    - Do you feel anything? - the doctor police asks.
    - No. I'm alright. Just want to go home.
    - You're free to go, sir - says the police doctor - Could you answer just one question? (he nodded). Have you seen anything, let's say, unusual, back at the bathrooms, sir?

    He stops, thinking.

    - No. Only water.
    - Thank you, sir, and be safe.

The Security Chief guides him off the restaurant, and to a side elevator.

Whe he gots down the street level, his motorist was in complete despair, but he almost shouted whe hes saw his doctor chief safe.

    - What happened, doctor?
    - Nothing - he enters the car, calmly - Just take me home, I'm tired.

    (Back at the Hospital)

Dr. Twistan Hyddeg nod to his doctor surgeon by the entrance, wave his hand to the nurse by the corridor, and when he gets to his office, he stops to talk with his secretary, a very aerial but helpful white woman.

    - I'm tired, please cancel my apointments for today.
    - Yes, Doctor - says her soft voice.

He gets into his office, and went to locate anything onto his clothes.

"I knew it", thought him, and he finds a localizer on his shoes.

Twistan didn't took it off. He went to his room, by a side wooden door, and prepare himself. With more confortable clothes, he sit the sofa and enters trance. He repasses step by step what happened, to keep that in mind, and to make certain he's low profile and he let the shoes and clothes by a chair just by the window. He doesn't know if that is also a listening machine.

All was fresh, the skeighta's tattoo, the young girl Avatar, that's something he wants to be very very distant from, off of those typical and predictable heroe's path, a Senator dressed in red, and the weird clock the assassin man was using. Now, that's unusual. The target wasn't the woman, as the important politician, but the dirty skeighta. That means the assassin knows "he" is the important piece.

He turns on the media to see what happened, doing meditation mind.

And for his relief his name was not even news, and the phenomenologists have got a lost case again. "Good", he thinks, and call the second doctor in command, a very interested woman. She loves him. Well, in the sense of admiration, professionally, of course.

    - Doctor, I'm tired, and I'll take the rest of the day off. You're in command.
    - I'll do the best I can, Doctor Hyddeg - says she.
    - Don't disapoint me.
    - I won't, sir. Take a good rest.
    - Thank you, doctor.

He then passes the rest of the day doing usual and common things. Took a bath, shaved, let himself on his bed, did nothing on the media, searching non important things, as travel guides and fiction, and when night came he went to sleep, very commonly.

He's not used to sleep this early.

Then, he manipulates his blood to sleep well.

    (A Dream, very Unwaited)

Before going to sleep, Twistan search for "clock" and "legend", by the network.

He sees uncountable images of a clock no one had really ever seen. The clock's related to the Artificers, a very important creature from the Mythology. It says they're able to manipulate reality itself, completely, and they're also part of a somewhat universal and intergallactic super mythology.

"I'm not interested, but this is a very nice inside information, now. Tomorrow, it ends. Let's go sleep", he thinks, and then goes to sleep.

He dreams with a group, the same group.

    Music :: http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&feature=endscreen&v=5SDMVjo7cO0

There's a rakma monk with them, too, a very serious elder reptilian.

    - I want my localizer - says the skeighta.
    - Considere it lost, ejik - says the rakma, factually.
    - You don't understand. (the skeighta explains). He's a phenomenologist. Imagine the tracks of doom he'll make up, if he sees that localizer. You know there's a huge Event coming. Holy night,... We just can't let he make up things, and expose ourselves.
    - Now you got a point, ejik. Agreed, let's do it.

Their ship comes, and fluctualing around the mountains, stops.

Twistan sees they coming, and opening his window, taking the localyzer off his shoe, and closing the window, and that dream went away.

    Day 3

By the morning, he looks up at his shoes.

    The localizer's not there.

He got the shoes to the service to wash, through a hole on the wall, get ready and opens the door to his office to start a common day of work.

Up his desk, there's a file, one of his pacients is in a very bad moment.

"Hhm,... it's the one who sees things,... Better see it myself", he keep his thoughts to himself, and go the locked area of the hospital clinic.

They put the pacient in straight jacket.

Doctor Hyddeg enters the room, and start to manipulate his blood to get a higher index of Lucidity, with a strong Bloodmagic effect, before starting to speak.

    - What are you seeing? - he starts.
    - A lot of people is going die. I've seen - the pacient explains, his eyes moving uncontrollably.
    - What did you see?
    - The bird of metal,... tonight,... They're gonna see much blood. Much blood will be shed. Bloodshed's about to happen, this is - the pacient's voice's low tone, in fear.
    - Are you going to die?
    - No.
    - Am I going to die?
    - No.
    - Good.

And so, he squeezes on a corner.

Doctor Hyddeg gets off the room, and locked it.

"A war's coming,...", his thought opens his mind, to get prepared.

Twistan goes his office, and sit very calmly.

"If this group's gonna cause so much death casualties,...", he starts thinking, "That's why the Artificers, knowing they're be in the centre of all that, was to eliminate them, in first place".

He got up and turn on the oaffee pot, to warm up his mind.

Got a cup of oaffee, and back his table.

"The man with the clock,...", starting again to think about it, "He's a Dealer, the name people give them, as I've seen yesterday, in a type of a super mythology. The target was the skeighta. If they could see he was the target, so maybe they can predict the future. If they predict the future, or make it, they would know there were to be some intervention, and I was the intervention".

Doctor Hyddeg drinks his oaffee, with a very calm expression on his face.

"They don't know why I've interjected, because this I myself don't know. Seen the future, they'd know I was going, someone was going to interfere, so as no one knows who would do that, taking myself as example, they're interested in the abilities this person would have. That group cause severe death casualties doesn't bothers me, but the Artificers discovered me. And THIS is a very big problem".

"I became a target, in this theory", his thoughts conclude.

So, he looks through the window off his office, and this is a very beautiful day outside. He listen to a bird singing, and remembers to take care of his collection of dead bugs.

Twistan opens another door, on his office, to see his collection of bugs.

His office has an entrance door, all natural wooden, a hiden door behind the shelf to his construct, a lavatory door, and two doors on the right (from the entrance), which leads to his bedroom and to his collection of dead bugs and insects, his dearest hobby. The bedroom has two windows, but the bugs has none. It's a bringht day outside, and weather prediction says there will be a regular month now, with no long days, so the second sun have already passed his closer orbit, to come back only in one year or so.

It's really springtime, now, late springtime, better saying.

"The Artificers knew, probably, that "someone" would interfere, but not who. This way, they were interested in knowing "who" would interfere. I was the target. Someone with no record, low profile, and with the right mindset to perform any deeds. Why they're interested in me? If they know future, they'd knew I WAS going to get interest in them. Why?", he carefully inspect the stuffed larvae, while thinking.

His first mind, a common one, was bewitched by the insects.

"Artificers are ancient entities of power, what would they gain with ME? I deal with blood. Blood is power. And I'm neutral, the same as them. My only side is mine, so this generates interest from both sides in each other. We're both low profile. But no side really needs each other, so why I'd be interested in them?".

Twistan finish inspecting bugs, and come back his office.

"What is it they want to create? They do whatever they want WITH reality, and I do whatever I want WITHIN reality, so they need me to create something. With blood, of course. And they need this without any defect, for no other reason they'd look for me? This way, they need someone who can DO something. Something,... without taking sides, probably. It's a Being. A living being", he opened his agenda on the top of his desk.

    - Yes, sir? - says the desk.
    - Music, please. Something which inspire tranquility.

And a soft song started, harp and flute.

"Did they wanted to know about my abilities? Maybe not. All they know about me is that I have a wit for taking very fast decisions. Why do they want to create a living being? And ME to do it? Because they're neutral, and cannot interfere, that's what make sense", he thinks while listening to the music.

Then, Twistán comes to a conclusion.

"That was a test. And if that was a test, but even if I don't like people testing me, it's going to be another one, but,... this one,... I think will worth it".

He goes to luch together with the employees, today.

    - I'm fine. It wasn't a big deal. And I don't remember it well. It looks like I steped the water and hit the ground. Nothing to worry about - Twistán says to the staff.

Doctor Hyddeg also asked for the reports, from the medic officers.

There are three doctors and seven nurses on the clinic. All people he investigated. Each one with the right mindset to take his orders.

The nurse man who's sleeping at the bleeding house will send the report tomorrow.

And by the nightfall, he receives a message.

~~ Good evening (it's the house owner). I'm going to travel tomorrow, moving to Tanahta, and I've not sold the house. If you don't buy the house, it's going to be empty,... (but Twistán interrupted, saying: I've said, I have not all the money you're asking for, only 400 thousand. It's the maximum I can offer) Erh,... I suppose we could own the house together. I'll talk to my lawyer. You have 400, and I'm asking for 900. I think it's fair this way. (Twistán: I couldn't help notice you work for the government, and I don't know if I'd be risking you come without any notice, so here's my offer. We become owners together, but you let me know if you're coming two months before you come to Akkoya). That's fair. (So, it's done. Where we can met, or I your lawyer?). Tomorrow my lawyer and broker will both call you to set the deal. I'm sorry I can't go. I work on the administrative area of the Alliance, so there came a sudden change in politics, and many people are moving without prior notice. Not only me. (Oke). Have a nice springtime, and take care. (You too). ~~

Doctor Hyddeg sent a message to his accountant.

~~ I need 400 thousand. Meeting tomorrow. (Meeting time?). 09:00. (Oke).

And a message to his lawyer, to come by 08:30 at the hospital.

"I'm going to delay my theory", Twistán thinks, "It's all going to be as it is now, for a while. But that's good to have also a partner at Tanahta, that's really good for the business".

    (At the Bleeding House)

Twistán went to see his pacient at the bleeding house.

    - You're going to sleep at the suite room - he says to the nurse man.
    - Yes, sir - he responds.
    - And all food will be paid by the hospital.
    - Thanks, sir.

    - And how are you? - he turns to the pacient.
    - I'm fine. I think I'm fine - his wide eyes almost jumping off the orbits.
    - I think that, too. Your family has bought you a very nice place - he looks through the walls, seeing not a lone drop was escaping the walls). Now, I have to go. I have a very busy day (he turns to the nurse).
    - Yes, sir. I'll take care.
    - No excesses, huh? - Twistán asks the pacient.

    The pacient merely smiles.

His accountant and lawyer came, and the deal was discussed.

He spends the rest of the day working.

    Day 4

Doctor Hyddeg woke up in a beautiful day, birds singing, the bloom of the springtime. Everything's red and green, and both moons on the sky.

Then, he got ready to sing the deal.

    So to buy the house.

Far, but not exactly far away,...

Your body is inteligence, you fortitude is for power. Diagnose perception is always awakened, unless he "turns" it off, concentrating. His social is spiritual. Move is imagination, but there are many places you must not go, so keep your mind off that kinda place.

He knows whose his spirit is, that's not the problem.

The problem are these prophetic dreams he keeps enjoying, like this one, with huge growing houses, alive, and ready to change the lives of those the living.

Today, he dreams of a serial killer.
